Local charities we support

Spitalfields Crypt Trust

SCT are an East London based charity that help people with drug or alcohol addictions and complex needs to achieve lasting recovery and a more fulfilling life. We support the charity by raising funds and awareness.

Blackfriars Settlement
(Positive Ageing Group)

Positive Ageing group supports those who are 60+ of all abilities, living in the Lambeth and Southwark area. We support the charity by doing kitchen take overs, befriending calls & fund raisers.

We are so grateful to Polaris for supporting Spitalfields Crypt Trust (SCT). Transformation is at the heart of what we do at SCT, and your support will enable more people to build a lasting recovery and find a life beyond homelessness and addiction. Our team strives to make a positive impact on the community by proactively engaging with local charities, through a combination of volunteering services and donating goods and funds.

We also promote fundraising among our team by offering volunteer days and match funding to boost our employees’ efforts.

Protecting the environment

We strive to conserve our natural resources and minimise the impact of our operations on the environment.

In addition to minimising printing and recycling materials wherever possible, we consciously make every effort to reduce our use of energy and water.

By maximising the use of IT systems, we minimise travel related emissions, and further reduce carbon dioxide levels by maintaining plants throughout our office.

We select suppliers without prejudice, treat them fairly and work with them to support improvements in their social, environmental and ethical practices

We achieved the Ecovadis Gold award for Sustainability Rating placing us in the top 5% globally, amongst organisations of a similar size (assessed by EcoVadis).

This award not only highlights our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) principles but also reflects our dedication to upholding the highest standards of ethical business practices.
