Eaton Gate becomes first MGA to go live on imarket

We are pleased to announce Eaton Gate as the first Managing General Agent (MGA) to go live on imarket. Eaton Gate has launched its first product, Tradespeople, through imarket to the Bravo Digital Trader platform.

This marks a significant milestone, as Eaton Gate joins eight insurers already leveraging our trading platform for Commercial distribution into broker distribution systems.

In April 2024, we expanded imarket’s reach by adding Bravo Digital Trader as the fifth distribution system to integrate with our platform, alongside Acturis, Applied, Open GI, and SSP.

Continued Growth for imarket

Insurance premiums placed through imarket grew by 15% to £449m in 2024, with the number of policies traded increasing by 3% to 546,449.

Widening Digital Distribution

Simon Bloomfield, our Head of imarket, said: “I’m delighted to see Eaton Gate join imarket and to be able to help them further their digital distribution into the Bravo Networks.

We look forward to working with Eaton Gate, adding more products and supporting them in widening their distribution over the coming months.

imarket can help large and small insurers and MGAs to digitally trade Commercial business and our expectation is that more MGAs and insurers will be using it to broaden their distribution.”

Broadening Broker Access to Products

Eaton Gate’s Operations Director Nate Filer, said: “imarket has helped us extend our distribution footprint by providing our broker partners with an efficient way of accessing the Eaton Gate product range via their preferred systems and enabled us to e-trade with a wider broker base, while we crucially maintain full control over our products and any updates we wish to make.”

Scott Bennett, Managing Director of Bravo Networks, said: “I’m delighted Eaton Gate have joined our insurer panel on Bravo Digital Trader.

By extending our distribution using MGAs we’re giving our members a wider choice of product, enabling them to be better placed to use the Bravo Digital Trader proposition for placing their business in the market.”

We are excited about this collaboration and look forward to further enhancing digital trading for the industry.
